Sent on behalf of Mick Tully – MCR Sussex Region, Regional Contact. To all Sussex Region members. We are arranging a Christmas party for our region. (Please see menu) will need to know if you fancy joining us on Saturday 21st December 7.30 for meal at 8 o’clock. at the John Seldon, Salvington Road, Worthing BN1 32 HN. Please bring a prize for raffle if possible, all profits going to a local charity. Please choose two or three course price, then send me you meal choices.
Please send choice of meals to g-tully@sky.com. Plus I will need a £10 deposit per person if want to join us, paying balance on the night. Will need confirmation by December the first.

The John Selden Christmas Menu Starters: Spiced parsnip & honey soup served with a warm bread roll & butter. (v) Atlantic prawns & Scottish smoked salmon served on a bed of mixed salad & drizzled with Marie rose sauce. Hog roast pork & apple pate accompanied with melba toast & onion marmalade. Garlic portabella mushrooms stuffed with onions, peppers & spinach. (Vg, Gf) Mains: Traditional roast turkey & stuffing, with pigs in blankets, roasted potatoes & parsnips, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables & gravy. Herb crusted cod loin served with seasonal vegetables & accompanied with garlic butter (V) Succulent lamb shank in a mint jus, accompanied with creamy mashed potato and seasonal vegetables. Roasted butternut squash stuffed with Mediterranean vegetables & basil. (Vg, Gf) Desserts: Christmas pudding served with brandy custard (V) Chocolate Fondant served with a scoop of Kelly vanilla ice-cream. (V) Cheese board, 3 seasonal cheeses, a selection of crackers, accompanied with onion marmalade. (V) Champagne sorbet topped with a raspberry & icing sugar. (V, Vg, Gf) 2 Course £17.95 – 3 Couse £22.95. Both options to include Coffee.
